The Terminology Services Management Group (TSMG) is planning to remove FMM levels on HL7 Terminology artifacts on https://terminology.hl7.org.

This decision was made because the FMM levels as documented do not apply to the maturity of a terminology artifact. In addition, the current FMM values on THO were added as an average of the FMM for the associated resources. TSMG does not believe that these FMM values provide value in their current context, and may actually be misleading when attempting to determine the maturity of a terminology artifact. TSMG will be exploring the development of a terminology maturity model to fit this purpose.

Please reach out if the removal of the FMM values on THO Code Systems and Value Sets will have an impact on your implementations.
