Hi all—

On today’s Structured Docs call, we discussed correcting the CDA schema bug described in CDA-20712. Currently, the schema incorrectly treats any non-empty string without whitespace as a valid member of the ActRelationshipAccounting and RoleClassAssociative value sets; we’ll be narrowing their definitions to match what’s defined in the CDA specification. (Note that we’ll only apply this fix to the SDTC extension version of the schema; the normative one will remain unchanged.)

We figured it would be worth mentioning this on the Structured Docs and CMG listservs in case anybody has any concerns about applying this as a technical correction to the schema, rather than a breaking change. Feel free to reach out if you’ve got any questions or concerns!
