Hi Lynn,

Just wanted to follow up to see if you could update the word files  in this zip file on the HL7 site to pdf?

http://www.hl7.org/implement/standards/product_brief.cfm?product_id=600

Thanks,

Zabrina

zabrina.gonzaga@lantanagroup.com to cdamg@lists.hl7.org

Thanks, Diana, for confirming.

@Lynn Laakso are there any additional steps that needs to be taken on Lantana’s  end or CMG’s end with regards to getting the pdf’s prepared?

Hi Zabrina,

Yes, the IG was published:

You are correct that the zip file linked to that download link contains Word docx files, rather than PDFs.

Thanks for bringing this up.

Hi Diana and Lynn,

CMG wanted to follow up on a few ePOLST related questions that came up last week during the HL7 WGM.

  1. SDWG wanted to know if the ePOLST IG was published.  I believe the answer is “yes”, correct?

Publication Request:  https://confluence.hl7.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=108307754

                Publication Request sent to HQ on 9/12/2022

Product Page shows the IG Status is “STU”: http://www.hl7.org/implement/standards/product_brief.cfm?product_id=600

                STU status as of 10/3/2022

  1. Lynn, when I downloaded the zip file from the product page, I saw 2 word documents instead of pdfs.  Would you like to convert the word documents to pdfs and upload a new package?

Thanks,

Zabrina

Scratch that, I was able to save a draft with just the ballot title, that you can refer to at http://www.hl7.org/implement/standards/product_brief.cfm?product_id=600

Thanks,

Lynn

I’m afraid this is a bit of a chicken-and-egg conundrum. I don’t create the product brief until the publication request is approved. Do you have a draft one from which I can take some content (including the requested “Published name”?

Thanks,

Lynn

Hi Lynn,

As the ePOLST get’s ready to go to publication, Diana is creating the JIRA spec file.  The publication version of the jiraSpec file points to a product brief page.  Do you have a product brief URL for the ePOLST IG that you can share with us so we can update the file?

Here is the Current JiraSpec file from ballot:

<?xml version="1.1" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<specificationxmlns:xsi=http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instancexsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="schemas/specification.xsd"defaultVersion="1.1.0-ballot"

defaultWorkgroup="sd"url=http://www.hl7.org/special/committees/tsc/ballotmanagement/DisplayNIB.cfm?ballot_document_sdo_id=1197>

<!--<specification xmlns:xsi=http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance

 xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="schemas/specification.xsd" defaultVersion="STU1"

 defaultWorkgroup="sd">-->

<versioncode="1.1.0-ballot"deprecated="false"/>

… (etc)

</specification>

Here is the Jira Spec file we are looking to update for publication:

<?xml version="1.1" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<specification xmlns:xsi=http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance

 xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="schemas/specification.xsd"

defaultVersion="STU1"

defaultWorkgroup="sd"

url=http://www.hl7.org/implement/standards/product_brief.cfm?product_id=#######> <-- Need product brief number here

<versioncode="1.0.0"deprecated="false"/> <-- Can we clean up the version number at this point? It should be "1.0.0" and ballot should have been "1.0.0-ballot" but I don't think we can/should change that now.

<versioncode="1.1.0-ballot"deprecated="true"/>

</specification>
