**CMG Issues Improved CDA IG Publication Request Checklist for CDA IG Authors**

HL7 CDA Management Group announced today that as part of the regular maintenance of the CDA Product Quality Plan, an improved version of the CDA IG Publication Request Checklist has been released.  The CDA IG Publication Request Checklist needs to be completed with each CDA IG Publication Request submitted to CMG for approval. CDA IG authors are encouraged to review the checklist prior to balloting an IG. The requirements listed in the checklist provide sound guidance that assures a high-quality CDA IG is produced.  The CDA IG Publication Request Checklist can be found in HL7 Confluence from the CDA IG area of the CMG Dashboard page.
